Recipe Stand

I recently bought a Kaisercraft Recipe Stand and well I had never intended to use it to hold my recipes.  I had evey intention of using it to display my favourite layouts. I thought it would be great because I could take them out of the albums for a week or 2 and then change them and then I don't forget which ones are my favourites.  Anyway it was just a raw chipwood Kaisercraft recipe stand and I have altered it so here it is.

I have used the same range of papers as all of the other altered storage I have been making.  I just love how it all ties in together.

I painted the top and bottom scroll parts in Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint, added some rhinestones and then some gorgeous flowers................. incase you hadn't noticed, I absolutely love flowers.

The top scrolls are also painted in Distress Crackle Paint.  I added some flowers to the top as well and they work perfectly for holding the top of the Layout in place.
I have added this layout for display but didn't realise when I choose it just how perfectly it fits in with the recipe stand, and it looks like the stand was made for this particular layout.

Thanks for looking and I hope you have a fantastic day.  Don't forget the blog candy giveaway :-)
